My name is Matt Boston. I’ve always wanted to help out children in my community. However, it wasn’t until I graduated college in 2019 realize that I needed to do something on my own and that with the help of my hometown we were more than capable.

 

After moving back to Glasgow in 2019, I realized that the kids from less fortunate homes didn't lack any abilities or passion that kids from wealthier families had, but they simply needed that extra resource or helping hand to help take that next step and escape the cycle of intergenerational poverty. I saw that these kids were all very eager and smart. They were willing to do more, but never had the right guidance or opportunities to do so. So, everyday we strive to ensure that ALL children know they are capable of achieving their goals and reaching new heights.​

 

Through Bridge, we simply want to be that helping hand to these families with children who might need a little help at times, and we know by being there for these families, the children will ultimately benefit the most and wont be held back from reaching their true potential, which is our ultimate goal with Bridge!
